These topic suggestions also come with rough outlines that can be used to help you start writing. Even if you don't end up writing anything it's worth taking a look. Topics include people, events, questions and more. Here are some examples: What makes Christmas feel like Christmas?, Hiroshima bombing, How art and politics intersect: the story of Václav Havel.
