Cana Thomason
9th G r a d e R e p r e s e n t a t i v e
Hello, my name is Cana Thomason and I am in ninth grade, I would like to be a student council representative this year for three reasons. The first reason is that I am a natural leader, I help lead the class in discussion, in homework, in keeping everyone on track. I like to help bring everyone back into reality when they have wandered off. When people are disrespecting the teacher I tell them to stop and when anyone has a question I can answer it. The second reason is that I am a big extrovert. I include everyone and bring everyone together and would like to keep doing that from a student representative position. When the girls don't want to talk to the boys or vice versa I remind everyone to include each other in every activity. The third reason is that I think I could be a big help to the student council and to my class this year, doing whatever either the council or my class needs would make me happy and I would love to help this school year. Thank you for your time.

My name is Lydia Whiting and I am running for student council 8th grade representative. During the first year of the council I was the 6th grade representative. If I am elected I am looking forward to making the 8th grade voice to be heard and contributing to the co-op. I hope that I will be able to initiate more activities for everyone, especially for my classmates, during my last year of middle school. I enjoy outdoor activities and helping my family, especially taking care of my six-month-old sister. I hope that my creativeness and responsibility will help the co-op and the 8th grade class thrive. I also hope to contribute to ice cream being able to be served at the end of year finale again! Please vote for me in the student council elections on September 24!

Hello, my name is Miriam Wright, I am running for class representative of 8th grade. I was dissatisfied with the number of activities that the 7th grade class had last year. I am running to ensure that this year there are more activities for our class. I am dedicated and invested in being the absolute best representative for our class. With me on the council, our ideas as a class will be considered and represented seriously. I am creative and adaptable which qualifies me for this role because I will have unique ideas to offer to the council. One of the ideas that I am very enthusiastic about is organizing a giant Secret Santa for the entire co-op. Another one of my ideas, is to have an enormous multi-week easter scavenger hunt. I also would like to have smaller events sprinkled throughout the year. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings for our class and the co-op.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Buckley. I am hoping that you will consider me a great candidate as the 6th grade representative on the student council. My goal would be to help build a great and amazing 5th and 6th grade class. I would do this by planning exciting and thrilling activities for everyone. For example, I would plan fun games and cool competitions! I would also lead my class to grow in God’s love and serve our community. I wish all the candidates the best of luck! God bless! Hello my name is Solanus Sumerton and i would like to run for 6th grade class representative. I know my classmates pretty well. I can find out what they want and try to get it for them. I would like there to be fun events for ALL students during and outside of co-op days. For example an ice cream social every once in a while because we need more ice cream. Or fun games with prizes on feast days.
